Description:
1964 Jeep CJ Tuxedo Park Mark IV
For sale is my 1964 CJ5 tuxedo park. The previous owner swapped the gas engine for a Perkins 4 cylinder, 236 cubic inch diesel engine. It has a custom adapter to mate it to the original bell housing and T90 3-speed transmission and Spicer 18 transfer case. It has its original Dana 44 rear differential which has had it's 10" drum brakes upgraded to the bigger and more powerful 11" drum brakes, and the original Dana 27 in the front which has been upgraded to disc brakes with stainless braided hoses and copper brake lines throughout. Floor pedals were removed and replaced with hanging pedals, booster, and master from a YJ, and the clutch master is a wilwood 1 inch master cylinder with a speedway slave cylinder. The brake master cylinder needs to be bled or replaced and the clutch linkage needs to be completed. The clutch disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing and all are brand new. The entire jeep has had a custom wiring harness and fuse box made for it and needs minor work to be completed including the tail light wiring, front turn signals, and several dash components wiring. All of the sensors have been swapped for electrical instead of fluid lines, and need gauges still. transmission and transfer case were both rebuilt and repainted. The engine runs great and strong, had a custom header built for it. The rest of the exhaust needs to be made, a gas pedal rigged up, clutch linkage completed, brakes bled, and the seats installed. I began removing the rear crossmember to do a fuel tank upgrade but didn't complete it. Also have a few boxes full of parts to go with it. The seats are from a Wrangler I think, I had them redone last year and have never been installed. The windshield is not pictured but I do have it and it is not cracked or broken, just took it off for the hurricane and never put it back. It has a clean Florida title, in my name and in hand, along with it's original tuxedo park factory VIN plate. No there is not a carfax for it because the VIN is like 9 digits long instead of the modern 17 or something. Feel free to ask questions. I don't always answer calls, but text or message me and I'll get back to you. No test drives obviously, no your movers can not come pick it up and pay with a check, cash only, you'll need a trailer.Vehicle Details:
