1979 Jeep CJ5 from Tennessee. This Jeep is in great condition and came from northeast Tennessee. I have always wanted a rust free Jeep CJ5 and living in northern Minnesotait is impossible to find one up here. I found this one last winter in Tennessee and my wife and I went down and trailered it back home.It has the 258 inline 6 with a 3 speed manual transmission. It runs great and the clutch and tranny are also in great condition. The 4wd works as it should also.As you can see the body is also in very nice condition and comes with new seats, newer tires which are 32x11.50x15, tilt wheel, power steering, and the bimini top. The previous owner also just replaced the carburetor with a new Webber carb.There is no heater as the previous owner by passed the heater core which was leaking and he never drove it when it was cold anyway.There are a few things that need to beaddressed but it runs and drives down the road great and is a lot of fun.The only reason that we are selling the Jeep is that my wife retired last winter and she wanted something that she could drive for fun. She doesn't drive a stick shift so we bought a C4 Corvette with an automatic and we don't need or have the room for the Jeep.
