1976 Jeep CJ

Very Nice CJ 5. Has the original 304 V-8 with 3 speed Manual Transmission.
Undercarriage is solid as a rock. Runs excellent, New brakes, excellent 33 - 12.5 -15 tires on Mickey Thompson Aluminum Rims.
Spare is good, but does not match.
Full interior of the tub has been sprayed with bed liner, and under side undercoated. It is very clean.
The Odometer shows 26311, but I'm sure it's 126311.
The engine is strong and according to the previous owner it has an Edelbrock Cam and lifters, and a new clutch. It does have an Edelbrock 4barrel carb and a new electronic distributor, wires and plugs. All fluids have been changed within the last 20 miles.
Exhaust is a set of Headman headers with glass pack mufflers that exit in front of the back wheels. It sounds AWESOME!The brakes were replaced front and back about 8 months ago and the jeep has been driven less than 20 miles since.
The fuel tank has been replaced with a new poly one and a new fuel pump and filter installed as well as all of the rubber lines.
The transmission shifts solid and 4 wheel drive works excellent, it has Posi differentials with 3.73 gears.
Brand new windshield, wiper motor and wipers. New seat covers, the original seats are solid but have small tears, they could easily be re-covered. There is a brand new 3" suspension lift on it with all new springs.
The Jeep has a bikini top and soft 1/2 doors. I have the top halves for the doors, but they should be replaced.

The only things that this great CJ 5 needs is a new turn signal switch and a wiper switch.

The paint is new and looks good, but the body prep I would consider it a 6 out of 10. I couldn't find any rust out or filler, but several small dents and just bad sanding.

I do not have a back seat or a full top, but I do have a frame for a soft top that will be included.The radio is missing and I don't have one for it.

This is an excellent CJ but it is not one of the "Perfect" ones that you see for 15000.
