Description:

1982 Jeep CJ CJ7 Limited

The Commodore 64 computer, Michael Jackson's Thriller and Jeep's CJ7 Limited were must-haves in 1982. Today, the Jeep continues to prove its reputation is well deserved. This rig is purpose built for adventure - forget about expensive paint jobs, custom rims and touch screen dash controls. You are looking for something real, something authentic; you want American steel and no nonsense.

For sale is a 1982 Jeep CJ7 Limited. It has an inline6 cylinder engine, 5 speed manual transmission and four-wheel drive. At the time, a long wheel base along with ahard top and doors were options, and this Jeep has it all. AMC produced 2,500 of these limited CJs between 1982 and 1985. Original beige exterior and brown interior are still more proof that you are driving a real CJwhich is holding up quite well.

As the new owner of this Jeep, you will find that your next couple of weekends will be spent fixing some mechanical issues. There are a few leaks to stop, the carburetor needs to be tuned and the gear shift sometimes pops out of first. The body is straight and there is almost no rust under this original paint job. Tires are old, but serviceable and are wrapped aroundfour all steelwagon wheels. Speaking of steel, the front bumper is incredibly strong and supports a heavy-duty Warn winch. On topis a steel rack and in back is an ice chest shelf, spare tire and 2" hitch receiver.

Interior amenities are predictably sparse and include tilt wheel, a removable rear bench seat, agun rack, and a newer aftermarket AC system. Most things work, some gauges need attention but overall the interior is good. Be aware that the odometer reading is inaccurate. Please have a look at the pictures, they are worth a thousand words. I am located in the Las Vegas area and the Jeep can be seen in person by appointment. When you purchase this Jeep, you will need to pick it up in person because I can not ship it for you.

Thank you for having a look at my Jeep, I hope you enjoyed it. Good luck and happy bidding!
