1972 Jeep CJ Beautiful Inside and Out

Up for auction is one beautiful CJ,with fiberglass body, paintedin Jewel Blue and has a outstanding interiorin ivory. This is a 1972 CJ5 butwhen the new fiberglass bodywas added a new vin number was assigned and it was then titled as a 1998 by the state of Washington. The owner hashad this jeep for 21 years andnow thathe has finished the restoration he would like to sale. Itonly has 1,304 miles onit after completion. A custom fiberglass body,fenders & hood replaced the oldbody partsand then (Mopar) paint code M09 Jewel Blue was applied. (very nice paint) The original steel windshield with new wiper motor & original grill wereretained.A new stainless steel front bumper, custom rear bumper, rear tire mount &running boards in black powder coat were built andinstalled.As was acustom trailer hitch & tow bar. While body was off the chassis was freshened with brakes,bearings, bushings, shackles, tie rod ends, king pins, hubs, and shocks. The original 304 engine has new CompMagnum hydraulic 292 lift cam, new lifters, new springs, new oil pump, newEdelbrock aluminum intake and new 4 barrel Edelbrock performer 500CFM carbwithHEIdistributor.It has headers and new full length exhaust. (sounds good & runs strong) New power steering box, new power brake busterwith master cylinder, all new wiring, new head light bezels, new marker lights andnew tail lightswere also added. A new clutch is in.The T18 transmission,& model 20 transfer case have not been rebuilt, but new seals were installed and they work well. New gears are in the model 30 front end,and are 4.10'sThe model 44 rear end,gears are 4.10's also.A 2" body lift on top of 2" Rancho leaf spring kit gives it that extra height needed for the custom alloywheels,also new fender flares rap around Dunlop Radial Mud Rover 33X12XR15tires with matching spare at the back.New fuel tank, sending unit, fuel lines, fuel pump,and skid pans finish the frame work. (drives nice) The interior is as nice as they come with it's well done steel horse front seats and bench rear seat. A matching custom padded & vinyl raped full roll cage, center console with stereo player, custom dash with trickgages, tilt column, and custom steering wheel also add to the look and comfort. Anew bestop Safaritop, is in place,plus a Bikini top comes with.The only thing thatthe owner hasnot done is the E brake.
