Here is one VERY CLEAN and VERY NICE 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer!
Purchased NEW in 1988 in North Carolina and stayed there until 2010.
In August of 2010 it was purchased by a restoration shop in MA. The restoration shop completed the frame on restoration in the Fall of 2011.
I purchased this Jeep Wagoneer as a Christmas gift for my wife in November of 2011.
IT'S EXTREMELY NICE! On scale from 1-10 --- I feel it's a SOLID 8 or better!
We keep it garage stored at our lake home from April - October. During the off season it's stored in a climate controlled building. We have NEVER had it out during the winter!
We use it to run errands and take our kids for ice cream --- we get a ton of compliments, waves, and thumbs up when we are out and about.
The Dark Baltic Blue Metallicpaint was done during the restoration, and still shows VERY well today!
I believe the wood to be original and in GREAT condition.
The TanLeather/Cloth interior shows VERY WELL with very little wear.
Since owning it, we have kept up on regular maintenance along with a few suspension/driveline upgrades and upgrading the Air-Conditioning System to a new R-134A system.
This Wagoneer has a POWER Moon-Roof, which does work, and I found this to be a RARE option when I was shopping for this one.
ALL of the POWER DOOR LOCKS and POWER WINDOWS Work! The POWER rear window ALSO works great! The Lights work, the Wipers work, the Horn works, and ALL of the Gauges work and are accurate! The Air-Conditioning is upgraded to R-134A and blows cold. The stereo has been upgraded with a newer AM/FM CD Player - I do not have the original Jeep Cassette Deck. The only option I find not currently working is the POWER exterior mirrors. I'm guessing it's a faulty switch since they both worked until recently?
