1960 Jeep Truck Rat Rod
I'm listing this for a Friend, so if you have any questions please call George at 360-430-5384. He is in WA state so please no early AM East Coast calls, Thank You.For Sale 1960 Jeep Truck, Rat Rod, Bobber, Art Car. Chevrolet 350 V-8
Early style 1960 Jeep truck cab mounted to custom square tube frame, Toyota pick-up drum brake rear axle, with Hair-pins and a Model A style rear spring with coil-overs, Model A drilled front axle with hair-pins and power disc brakes. This truck has a 350 Chevrolet V-8 and a Turbo 350 Automatic transmission, that is shifted by a antique shotgun shifter, it has a rare antique fire extinguisher mounted to the cab, and a working antique siren mounted to the top that is activated by pulling hangman's noose. It has a Mopar manual steering box that is controlled by a welded chain steering wheel. It also has oil injectorsthat inject oil into exhaust for smoke. The fuel tank is a antique pony keg, and the lights are housed in Ammo Cans. The builder has built several cars and is a Fabricator by trade and a certified welder. This jeep drives straight and true, and has been well built. It was built to have fun with, and has several rare antique parts on it. This truck gets tons of attention where ever it goes. The reserve is lower than the cost of the chassis. If you do not like the Rat Rod/Bobber/Art Car theme, buy it and put the rock solid chassis under your T project and you are up and driving tomorrow.
This is a fun little truck, and the reserve is only 3,500 so bid to own, and have some fun.
George has this truck for sale locally and reserves the right to end auction at anytime
Good luck and thank you for looking at my item.
Please check my other auctions often, as I will also be selling more cars and project cars.
Due to the fact that this is a 55+ year old used truck and the owner can not control how it will be driven by the new owner there is no warranty or returns. This car is sold as-is. What is listed and what you see on truck in the pictures is what you get.
the owner will need a $500.00 non-refundable deposit within 5 days of sale, and then balance must be paid in full within 10 days of end of auction. If not paid within 10 days car will be re-listed and deposit not returned. (He will work with you if there is a good excuse. He will not lower price though). He will not charge storage on car, if car is paid for it can be stored at his home for awhile,(1 or 2 months, not a year) until shipping is arranged.
Hewill not arrange shipping for the truck, that is up to you the buyer, but he will work with you and your shipper in any way he can. (he has a large flat yard that a transport truck can easily turn around on, and lives near I-5 in WA state)
