1991 Jeep Wrangler

This 1991 Jeep Wrangler runs great and has a 4inch suspension lift as well as a 2inch body lift. I have not owned this vehicle for long and bought it to fix up and go jeeping with my brother and son. It needs minor repairs to make it a reliable 4x4. The previous owner installed the lift kit without installing the transfer case lowering block to reduce the front driveshaft angle and went bouncing over a pasture hit a big hole and over extended the drive shaft causing it to separate. The fix for this is either install the transfer case lowering, install a cv style drive shaft, remove the 4inch lift and install a new stock front drive shaft, or, of course, you could just install a new drive shaft and not drive like a dump a**. There's a little instability in the handling of this jeep that may be caused by either the lift kit needs to be tightened up or maybe the wheels need more offset or width for stability at this elevated height. The gauges all work with the lights on but don't when the lights are off. This should be a very easy fix, the previous owner was a real beauty. The seats need recovering as it lived in southern California without a top. It has a new top and comes with a tow bar. It was my estimate that this Jeep needs about $800.00 in mechanical repairs to make it a good reliable four wheeler to take and drive anywhere. Currently I would drive it anywhere as a two wheel drive. That is my estimate based on driving and looking at it. I purchased this Jeep to own it myself, but due to personal reasons ( My wife has limited me to two unfinished projects or face divorce. Where as, I will lose all of them plus my finished toys. She can be a really be a mean cold hearted bit**, but I really love my toys.)
