Up for bid is a STUNNING 1981 Jeep CJ7 Laredo! Here is the story on this one. It was purchased by a local gent from Collins Brothers Jeep (From the Fast and Loud TV Show) out of Texas a few years back. They had gone through and done about 8k worth of mechanical items including new exhaust system, fuel tank etc etc to make it mechanically PERFECT. It lived in his car showroom for about 2 years when I bought it. It was absolutely amazing how dry and straight it was and it of course drove like a charm. I wanted to change the color to bright red and remove a few of the last few decades worth of dents and holes from various soft tops etc. as it was my intention to keep it. Jim Nonn a local and highly respected paint man striped and repainted the Jeep, fixing all the imperfections etc. It then got all new OEM decals as well as new carpeting while the perfect original seats were out. I also had the spare tire mount, steps, shifter and a few other items that the factory just painted and subsequently look worn quickly, powder coated as well. I also had a rebuilt T5 transmission installed to get a 5th highway gear and more robust transmission. The jeep looks, drives and is absolutely gorgeous with a small 2" lift and 32" BFG Mud Terrains. I would drive it anywhere and anywhere you do it receives attention and compliments. Everything functions as it should and drives straight and tight. It does not have doors or a top as I liked and only drove it on sunny, nice days. I am happy to assist with shipping etc.
