1972 Jeep Commando AMC 360 TH400 Automatic Transmission Lifted New 33" Tires
1972 Jeep Commando Bull Nose
Up for auctions is my beloved 1972 Jeep Commando, hate to see it go but I've got other priorities at this time.
This Jeep is an original AMC 304 V-8 Commando with a tastefully upgraded era correct AMC 360 Crate Motor installed. Power Steering and Power Brakes, Edelbrock 4 barrel Performer Intake with new Edelbrock 1406 600 CFM Carburetor.
I have gone through this Jeep personally myself to make it road worthy as a summer driver. I did not have plans on selling it till now. Love was poured into this Jeep on aything I worked on.

I have gone through this Jeep to ensure it will be an excellent dependable driver. Things that it will need are a good stereo, e-brake needs adjustment. and that is about it.
Exterior: On a scale from 1-10, 10 being the best I would rate the Jeeps exterior a 7, body is mostly straight with the exception of the poor repair job on the passenger quarter panel. This did not bother me as I planned on restoring the entire Jeep. There are also some rust bubble areas on the paint as seen in the pictures, small rust holes where the front floor boards meet kick panels, and back by the drivers rear tailight in the bed.
Interior: On a scale from 1-10, 10 being the best I would rate the interior a 7. While the seats have been redone, new steering wheel, it will need a new vinyl floor, spray in liner, carpet kit and stereo installed or however you want to finish out the interior. The dash is in very good condition.
Mechanics: On a scale from 1-10 I will give it a 9. While I did an extremely thorough job going through the mechanics it is a classic and collector vehicle that will continually need something at sometime but that is one small part of the joy in owning a cool old Jeep.
The Commando comes with a white vinyl soft top with full back window and full rear side windows in good condition. I was going to install it and ran out of time. I will install it and upload a photo at a later date. Comes with vinyl soft top in good condition.
