Professionally restored by Ultra Motor Sports, 1955 Willys Pickup! The result of this tedious restoration is possibly one of the best Willys pickups available today. The restoration of this vehicle has been very well detailed and documented. The original 226 Inline 6 cylinder engine and the transmission were removed, all body components were removed from the frame. The frame was blasted, primed, and sealed professionally. New brake lines and all braking components were installed. The original wheels were blasted and powder coated with chrome black. New original style Coker tires were mounted. The cab, hood,fenders, and bed were professionally taken down to bare metal. An etching primer, then primer, the the final coat of paint was applied. The finished color is Logan Green Pearl by PPG. Clear coat was applied and the paint was finished to perfection. The body was re-assembled to the frame using stainless bolts where possible. All smaller components were blasted and coated. The original gas tank was professionally repaired and retored. The radiator was restored as well. All mechanical components of the vehicle were meticulously restored. The engine was dissassembled and the block sent to be steam cleaned and pressure tested. The crank, valves, bearings, and oil and water pumps were replaced. The head was also reconditioned. The transmission and PTO gears were gone through and are in perfect working order. The electrical system was converted to 12v. A "Ron Francis" wiring kit with all new wiring and fuse box control panel were installed. The interior and exterior chrome was restored and redone. The original heater was sent off and re-conditioned. Two new 12v motors were installed for heat and defrost. The original carb was rebuilt. A new exhaust system was installed to match the original with a turn down midway. The interior is completely custom and Native American themed. The detail of this restoration could never be duplicated for the price listed. This vehicle is flawless in condition. The exterior shows perfectly. The interior is immaculate. The mechanics of this vehicle are like new and completely roadworthy and reliable. This vehicle is the perfect accessory for any lake cottage, mountain cabin, desert hideaway or surf shack.
