1983 Jeep Wagoneer

This vehicle is a 1983 Jeep Grand Wagoneer LTD with four wheel drive, a 360 cubic inch 5.9L V-8 engine and approximately 145,000 miles on the original engine. There is an odometer report on the title history, but I discussed this with the seller prior to purchasing the vehicle and recall it was a minor issue. I purchased the vehicle in 2001 and am the third owner. The original owner was already retired when purchased new.Upon his death in 2000, a neighbor briefly owned it before I purchased if from him. This Wagoneer offers: power front seats, power steering, tilt steering wheel, power brakes, towing package, power windows (including rear gate), power lock switch, cruise control, air conditioning, electric side mirrors, rook rack and dome lighting. All of these features work. The rear window defogger does not work (could be just a fuse, but do not know for sure). The rear tires are brand new and the front tires have less than 3,000 miles on them. There is NO RUST.Some previous minor rust behind the rear wheel wells was repaired in 2015 and the entire undercarriage was Ziebart’d. The lower half of the body was painted as well. I had planned to re-paint the upper half as “phase 2” of some restorative work. There is some fading on the roof (see photos). The vehicle was mechanically inspected bumper to bumper by the local Jeep dealership (Kahlo) in 2015 and all suggested repairs were made (I have a list of these), including some rewiring and complete disassembly and rebuilding of the carburetor.I wanted to be sure the vehicle was mechanically sound prior to the completing the body work. There are no fluid leaks.New rear brakes and drums installed May 2016.An aftermarket stereo/CD player has been installed, but the original radio comes with the vehicle. $5,600 spent on mechanical and body work in 2015. Unfortunately, there is some recent rear panel driver side body damage due to contact with road debris. There was no contact with another vehicle. The rear driver side panel suffered a couple of dents and there is a tire mark from a loose tire on the wood grain (see photos). If necessary, the wood grain vinyl can be reproduced by a sign company (ex. Signarama). The interior is largely in original condition, but is in very good shape given its age. There are no cracks in the dash. One rear seatbelt latch needs to be repaired/replaced.The headliner and visors are in very good shape. The rear bench seat folds forward for additional cargo space.I am selling due to downsizing and relocation. The vehicle runs great and has always been professionally serviced. The fact that the A/C and all primary electric components work is a testament to how well it has been maintained.
