I have owned this jeep for about 5 years now. I now have 3 kids so I no longer get to enjoy it as we are one seat short of fitting the whole family. This jeep runs and drives very well on road and off. I have owned many jeeps and having the newer model fuel injected engine is the way to go for power and reliablity. This would be a great jeep to leave as is and enjoy, or like any jeep continue to tinker and make you own. All the hard work / expensive work is done.
What you may or may not see in pictures.
The paint is not perfect. This jeep was used for trail rides and hunting camp along with cruising.
The jeep currently has a carpet kit in it that has some bad spots in the carpet towards the back. I was going to cover then inside with bedliner, but this jeeps tub is in great shape and has no rust spots or holes, so I decided to leave that uncoverd as this is harder and harder to find.
The Hard top needs finishing. The top is solid but the rear hatch needs work. I started this project, but have not completed it. I have purchased most if not all the new hardware and seals that will go with it as you can see in the pictures. I also have a full safari top that converts to a bikin top.
The transfer case makes a noise during deceleration from high speeds, I have a spare that has been gone through with new seals and is ready to go if the current one has trouble. I am told the Dana 300 may last for ever like this. The spare transfer case goes with the jeep.
The front Brakes are all new, along with seals and Bearings. Completed about a month ago.
The gas tank was dropped about two months ago and all new pump and sending unit were installed. Jeep has only had 100% Gas and no E-85 or other blends.
There are many other items that have been recently gone through or upgraded.
Please call or text with any questions. I am trying to be as honest as possible with discription as I know its tough when buying older classics or 4x4's.
