1975 Jaguar XJ12
1975 Jaguar XJ12C, XJC, XJ coupe. Rare Jag. Only 821 V12's made this year and only 2262 v12's made over 3 years. NOT an XJS.5.3 V12. Runs and drives and brakes. All lights work. I have driven it quite a bit last summer and fall and have started driving it recently this summer. I have removed the emissions equipment and made a few mods to the cooling system, pertronix ignition, fabricated new fuel rails. D-jetronic works well and I have adjusted it to run as good as possible within the D-jetronic limitations. I have removed the pass side cylinder head to replace an exhaust valve when a seat dropped. No damaged, so I can report that the heads will come off with minimal issue if a rebuild was in the future and it now has proper coolant mix. The only real rust is pass floor board. The rust is only on the inside. Underneath is not rusted.Rescued from back yard in Cheyenne. Needs windshield and rear window as the property had cats and I guess cat claws can scratch a window. Cats were never inside of the vehicle.I can drive on nice days to show in the Denver area and answer any questions. I also have an extra rear seat. I can spend all day describing but seeing, driving is the way to see this classic JAG. Odometer was not working for a while but I spoke to a former owner and he said the 58k miles is correct, so this is a low mileage example. Tachometer has recently stopped working.Located in the Denver area and is on a local sale site.I have most of the parts that I removed in case a full restoration was in the future. Also the original chrome wheels.
