Up for sale is this ‘91 Jaguar XJS Coupe with the notorious 5.3L V12 DOHC engine. The car is in VERY nice condition inside and out. I am selling the car on behalf of the current owner who happens to have a pretty neat British Car collection and is only selling due to a recent acquisition.

This car was last serviced in August of 2023 and we have topped off all of the fluids and replaced filters along with engine oil and the coolant. The car has new Crank Position sensors, a new abs module, and has had a total engine check including a thorough decarbonization treatment and ignition service. The Jaguar has a new alternator and the electrical system was checked and serviced. The brakes were checked and are tight as they should be.

The car has no immediate mechanical issues as per our checks and although it does run and drive well, (like any 33 year old car) It may need little things to be perfect or may need minor things to be perfect if you're very meticulous. From what we have seen, the gaskets are in good shape, no serious leaks, just normal wear as per age and mileage. The lights all work well, The stereo system works well, The windows both roll up and down however the driver window is a bit sluggish. The heat works well and the A/C was recharged in summer and was working properly.

BODY: This Car has no rust issues, however it does have a few scrapes and scuffs (see pictures). The rear spoiler has a little clear peeling from it, The rear bumper (driver side) had a scuff in a parking lot and was repaired (see pictures). The front passenger bottom has a small scuff from a low entrance garage (see picture). There are minor dings and imperfections around the hood, It is not a concourse car. The Paint is all original! Overall the body and paint are very nice. The car looks great all around. There are no serious damages on this car, the pictures will show any imperfections it has.

(NOTE: I will fix ANY imperfections and address ALL body issues for the RIGHT buyer)

Interior: The leather is in EXCELLENT condition!! It not only looks fantastic, it also has a plush and clean feel to it. The interior smells great! (smells of leather). The door gaskets are all in great shape, no cracks or damages. There are no leaks or issues when washed or the car is wet. The Carpets are clean and plush as well. All Glass is intact and scratch free, the door panels are clean and proper. (little flaw on bottom of passenger door panel, see picture, clip came off). The buttons all work, Interior and dash lights are all functional! The gauges are all clean and accurate, the work properly. The Blower motor and all its functions work accordingly. Clock and on-board computer works as it should. The Wood is in great shape, but as any older jaguar goes, it has imperfections and cracks. (normal wear and tear, age)

Brakes & Suspension: The Brakes work fine, the accumulator and ABS pump were serviced! The Pads have normal wear, some surface rust on rear rotors, normal from sitting and will clean when driven. The suspension is tight and all bushings and joints appear to be in good standing order. All brake pads are within 40-60% life and lines are clean and free of rust.

ENGINE & Transmission: The engine starts and runs SMOOTHLY, it has no weird noises or smells. The gaskets don't have any abnormal cracks or damage, it has no serious or abnormal leaks. There appears to be no damage due to rot or sitting or elements. The fluids are clean, Compression is healthy and all 12 cylinders are within + or - 5 PSI of each other. There are no Vacuum leaks or broken parts. No immediate issues noted. The transmission has clean fluid, shifts very well, no leaks observed. The rear has had the gear oil topped off and has no noises.

Electrical & Exhaust: The car has a new alternator, has had all fuses checked. ALL electronics are working, Blower motors, windows, On-board computers, Blinkers, seat warmers, cruise control, lights and buttons. Exhaust pipes all in good shape, no rust problems no serious issues. SOUNDS GREAT! V12.
