I am pleased to offer this 3 owner, 1968 Jaguar E-Type convertible. This car is in barn find condition and includes an auxiliary hardtop. Body # 4E 8316. This car is a Series 1.5 E-Type (early 1968 with 3 windshield wipers) with 4.2 liter straight 6 engine. Mileage is 50,XXX +/- and is believed to be correct. Jaguar produced a limited number of “Series 1.5” cars, which retain most of the early design elements coupled with the later headlights. This mid-year changeover model is rare, with just over 2,800 Series 1.5 roadsters produced. Car is currently owned by the third owner who purchased it a few years ago. Prior to that, the second owner owned the car since 1972. Great long term ownership. The car runs and drives (see video). Great restoration candidate or patina quality driver. Solid car with no rot.
