Vehicle Details

1970 XKE JAGUAR ROADSTER SERIES II. Please note this XKE is as original as I can keep it. I have enjoyed it very much. This is my 3rd and have loved every one of them. This is a true beautiful DRIVER. I am selling this because I need to make room for new purchase’s. Throughout the last 17 years I have performed a multitude of upgrades and replacement of worn parts. Even though I replaced many parts I kept all the original parts for a future owner that might want them. The paint was an old repaint from light blue to Red. I had the car repainted in the XKE color Signal Red. Most of the electrical wasn’t working properly so I rewired it with the original wiring and can say everything works properly. I pulled the AC out because the whole system was rotted and was not able to be repaired. The cooling fans were not working so I replaced with new cooling system racing dual fans and I have the original cowl for the fans. I had a licensed Jag Mechanic completely go over the engine and repaired or replace everything that needed it. I sent all chrome out to have them replated.  Replaced floor pans. All new Dayton Wire rims with special Coker Michelin XVS-P Racing tires. I have original rims. All new 1968 winged knock-offs. I have original 1970 knock-offs. Replaced clock with new Smith but still have original. New Slave clutch cylinder. New master clutch and hoses. New fuel Pump. Complete suspension rebuild. Ball joints replace, shock absorbers, springs, front and back. New brakes. Replace rotors, and calipers. New hand brake. New fluid reservoirs. New stainless exhaust system. New 1970 original exhaust manifold (special design). New water pump. New distributor, and lead, coil, points and plugs and wires. All electrical rocker switched rebuilt. Every gauge rebuilt back to original. New speedometer cable. All exterior lighting repaired or replace with original and working properly. There are many other things I have done to this car but just forget them right now. If you have any specific question, just ask. I do not know if it has all matching numbers because that has never meant anything to me. I just love driving them. I personally restored the interior and am very proud of it. I recolored all the interior. Everything is close to original and it is very close to complete. I rebuilt the seats and replaced all the foam but left the back of the seat packing as original because it gives the interior a one of a kind beautiful aroma. Look at the pictures and if you have any question please send me your question. THERE IS NO BONDO IN THIS JAG. This Jag is rust free and has very littler frame surface rust.
