Description:
1973 Jaguar XJ6
Great running classic jaguar. The ac even works. This car turns heads like non other . motor is strong and runs out great . Trans shifts well . tires are good. car starts up every time and idles right at 700 rpms. recently left fuel pump stopped . ill fix it before sell . Its very unusual to find one of these without the chevy engine swap . Making this a very desirable car. Parts are much easier to find then they were even just a few years ago. I can send over a list of all my sources. only thing i think is not functioning is the clock in the dash. all other gauges and lights are functioning. I recently had right rear wheel bearing redone since it was making noise. The body is very straight, however I wouldn't call it perfect. It has slight flaws hear and there but without a good eye you probably wouldn't notice. There is still a tag under dash with the manufacturer year and date. Looks like it was completed sept 30 of 1973 . This is the last year of the series 1 Jaguar xj6 . Jaguar was manufactured in Coventry England. The xj6 was designed by the founder of Jaguar Sir William Lyon . Wood dash is very nice. The upper dash doesn't have cracks. Coolant temperature stays very good with no fluctuation even in 90 degree heat. Leather appears to be original and in very good condition. Drivers re-tractor seat belt is not retracting but i have a new one ill send with car If i dont get it done before hand. . I do have this listed else where and reserve the right to remove from ebay. I beieve the paint color is original as the primer color underneath is the red primer they used for the green paints.Vehicle Details:
