We are pleased to present the exquisite 1958 Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupe you see pictured. Finished in a high quality, brilliant white, the paint is in excellent condition. The body is straight, solid and in mint condition. The chrome on the car, including the front and rear bumpers, license plate light housing and emblems, all look incredible. The Hartz black canvas convertible top and boot are both updated and in beautiful condition and compliment the paint on the car. This car is absolutely incredible and nearly breathtaking.
The entire interior of the car is finished in black Connolly leather and looks awesome by contrasting the bright white paint. All the seats are wrapped in full leather including leather door panels, showing no major imperfections anywhere to be found. The carpet is also in great condition. The dashboard is in excellent shape and houses period correct, black faced Smith’s gauges. There is also a period correct AM/FM radio mounted to the underside of the dashboard. The wood Jaguar Moto Lita steering wheel compliments the interior and looks gorgeous.
Under the hood, you’ll find that the tried and true 3.4L straight 6 sits an extremely tidy and detailed engine bay. The cylinders have been bored .20 oversize and the compression is 8.00:1. The engine block has been repainted in the correct and “original” avocado green color. The engine number is V1651-8. There are also twin S.U. side mount carburetors. Attached to the engine is a new 5-speed manual transmission, but the original 4-speed manual transmission, numbered JLS38029CR, was safely stored and can be included with the car. The XK150 sits upon a set of updated chrome Jaguar wire wheels wrapped with new genuine 6.00-16 white wall tires and includes matching chrome spare. It should also be mentioned that this Jaguar is equipped with 4-wheel disc brakes for optimum stopping power, with new calipers and pads all around.
