For sale 1959 Jaguar MK IX for sale. True classic, restored in 2002. Egg shell white with bright red leather interior. The MK IX has more interior wood surface than any production car ever built. Present wood was installed with the 2002 restoration. Wood is from Madagascar and nothing compares with the wood in this classic. Never cared for British engines or carburetors so the engine was pulled and replaced with a 5.7 liter, GMC Ram Jet engine. Wheels were also replaced in 2002 with wire wheels from the 1958-59 Jaguar roadsters. Stands head and shoulders above any Concourse MK IX we have seen. Photo shows floor shifter, it was moved from the steering column to the floor. It is still an automatic transmission. Classy car for a true connoisseur. Over $119,000 invested.
