1968 JAGUAR E-TYPE 4.2 LITER SERIES 1.5 ROADSTER --Carmen Red with Black leather interior, lack carpeting, lack top, 7,000 original miles from new/Sympathetically restored, -speed, umbers matching. Early history is unknown, ut the chassis, ody and original interior acknowledge this belief. It is one of the nicest, ightest, traightest and most honest E-type’s we have seen in some time. Purchased in 2006 in mechanically restored form by its previous owner-collector and well known client to Autosport Designs, nc., t has been well-cared for and sympathetically restored since with care to not diminish much of its original condition, uch as its original and superb interior and original chrome which cannot be replicated.During the previous ownership it has been serviced annually and has received the following service, aintenance and upgrades to keep in superb, eady to use condition. New top, omplete cooling system refurbishment including new water pump, hermostat and upgraded aluminum radiator for better cooling, omplete suspension overhaul, ll hubs have been replaced, uel tank has been removed, erviced, oated and reinstalled, ew Clutch, ew stainless steel exhaust system, omplete engine reseal, erformance oil pump and recently full service with valve adjustment, arburetors have been rebuilt and finally a complete repaint in its original color Carmen Red.I have (Tom Papadopoulos) recently enjoyed driving this E-type from the dealership to home and back, can attest to its performing flawlessly in every way.
