1989 Jaguar XJS Rouge Edition
Very rare Jaguar XJS "Rouge Edition" coupe . Supposedly less than 100 were produced in 1989 . It is Signal Red as they all were with the "Rouge" package .It is powered by the original 5.3 liter V-12 with 263 horsepowe, fuel injected,it does have thefactory Magneti-Marelli ignition system and actually runs very smooth . The miles are just over 50,00, the original interior with the cashmere colored Magnolia leather seats are in good condition with minor wear on the driver's seat piping . The center console has the typical cracks in the varnish finish but replacement inserts are readily available on the internet . There has been some paint work done over the years but the Jag shows no signs of any serious collision repai, looks like the hood has been repainted as well as some of the driver's side . This is a really nice car to driv, seems that it has plenty of powe, the 4 speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly along all gears . It does have the 5 original red inserted honeycomb wheel, the original owner's manual and introduction cassette with case .
The car is currently in Mesa Arizona where it does not snow quite as often as here in Montana this time of yea, and a little easier for pickup or shipping purposes .
