1962 Jaguar 3.8 Litre E Type Roadster. A solid running and driving original example of the highly desirable covered headlamp E Type. The car was comprehensively restored 20 years ago by a highly regarded shop in the Seattle area. The quality of the restoration was excellent but after 20 years the car exhibits normal signs of usage such as minor paint chips, ear and tear, tc. As the car was rarely driven the last 10 years or so it could use a complete service/tune and fresh tires as the Avon tires currently fitted have good tread but should be replaced due to age. The interior is very good in all respects and the mohair soft top is excellent, s well as the boot cover. The body and paint is generally good along with the chrome trim. A small amount of corrosion is evident in the LH lower outer sill as pictured. The engine block and head numbers match the factory VIN tag and the car is currently fitted with a later model, ull syncro E Type gearbox which enhances driveability.
