This beautiful 76 Jag XJ-S I am selling for a friend is a fine example of professionalism at its finest in restoration which was done approximately 18 yrs ago. It has aprox 5K mile put on it since then and has been in a heated garage all the time it wasn't driven.Engine; 1971 402 Chevy big block, complete rebuild bored 60 over & balaned.Trans; GM 700R4 with HP parts seals and u joints. Rear diff assembly; complete tear down, new bearings, seals & U joints.Paint & Body; No rust car, fully stripped and painted Jag Signal Red basecoat, clear coated and cut & buffed.Interior; New leather seats & head liner. New carpets inside and in the trunk with new door panels and dash pad. It has a very small crack in he dash which is hidden by the dash pad.Wheels & Tires; Cooper tires on 16" Ronal WheelsBrakes: Front and rear calipers rebuilt with new pads. New front wheel bearings and seals with new ball joints and suspension bushings.Speedo shows 62,000 miles. Air conditioning works very good in auto mode but acks up sometimes when in manual mode. This car is a fine example of Jaguar with a chevy engine, professionally installed with no corners cut. Drives and handles like the real deal and has been lowered which makes it handle better yet. Has won several trophys at car shows plus a class 1st place award at a Jag national meet. Buyer to furnish shipping but we will assist as much as we can.
