Rare & Collectible Jaguar Cabriolet!!
Only 5013 built from 1982-1988 and this car is 1 of 70 built in 1988.Built by Jaguar prior to manufacturing the full convertible model.This car has the strong, nearly bullet-proof V12.It has had regular maintenance for several years.Solid body and undercarriage.Unmolested original.Brand new tires.Rear plastic window is clouded.
The parking brake is not connected as previous owner disconnected. I have the original headlight buckets and there are some new parts passed down to me including an oil pressure sender, distributor cap, rotor, ignition wires, and a rear transmission mount. I bought this car as a "keeper" and proceeded to get new tires (approx 100 miles), new fuel filter and fuel pump. I had intended to go ahead and continue to do all maintenance as I drive it, but I had an unexpected expense. My 1961 Mk 2 was hit last year and after settling with the insurance on a full payout and 13 months of rebuild time, I received the final invoice shortly after buying this car. The expenses exceeded expectations, so I must sell this XJS-C now!
CT is not a "title" state. Car will be sold with a Bill of Sale and current registration in my name proving ownership.
Despite needing some TLC, this is a good car and available to use as it is and drive as you spruce up.
The XJS-C Cabriolet is a rare car and appreciating faster than the XJS or XJS convertible.
