We are proud to offer this beautiful 1970 Jaguar E-type Series II Fixed-head Coupe. This Jaguar was built on October 8th of 1969 and the date of dispatch was November 5th 1969. The first owner was Mr. Cotton Guio of Big Piney in Wyoming USA. This great car is the original color combination of Regency Red with biscuit/tan interior. It has history, eceipts and correspondence going back to 1973. It was never abused and always kept up with the utmost care. This is a very special Jaguar E-type Coupe. There are not a lot of Jaguar E-types that drive as well as this one does. It shifts perfect and handles exceptional. This is a car for someone who is going to drive it and enjoy the car! The interior was redone and looks better than new. In addition, he paint, hile not brand new was redone as well and looks beautiful on the car. Furthermore, he engine was rebuilt at 54,576 miles, ut was also taken apart and refreshed in 2012 at 83,750 miles as detailed below. The car has 84,472 original miles, o to put this in perspective on a 45 year old car, t has averaged 1,900 miles per year with most of the miles placed on this car early in its life. There were only about 18,000 miles placed on this great Jaguar since 1979.The carburetors have also been rebuilt. This fabulous E-type has the original Jaguar tool set, s well as the original Jack, nock off adapter and hammer.     Overall, echanically this car is excellent. The compression is 150 to 160 psi on every cylinder and the oil pressure is also excellent. Also, t is in great shape cosmetically with an excellent body and structurally sound. The floors are solid and excellent and the underside is rust free and clean. Really needs nothing to be enjoyed Jaguar E-type coupes are great investments. If you are looking for a fun Jaguar E-type to frequently drive and enjoy, his would be the perfect car for you.
