Classic 1990 Jaguar XJ6 for sale. Excellent condition inside and out. ZERO RUST. Gorgeous slate blue with leather interior. 120K miles
This Jaguar has spent its entire life in Florida, with low miles every year, no accidents and a clean title. This car was well taken care of and must have been garage kept. I drove it from Florida to Buffalo in July with no issue. The 4.0L straight-6 engine puts out 235hp, RWD. There is even a button for "sport" mode that gives the engine a more efficient shifting pattern and makes it go extremely quick (at the expense of gas mileage). Useful if a Bond villain is on your tail. Gas mileage has been roughly 24mpg driven on highway
Just had new rear struts with assembly installed by dealer ($700), plus fresh oil change, alignment and NYS Inspection. Recent tune up- plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. The A/C is not working, but it appears that the compressor works/spins. Tires are excellent and have about 75% tread left. This car drives like a tank and is an extremely solid, comfortable ride worthy of chauffeuring the prime minister himself. Steering is tight and suspension is great. Transmission shifts perfectly. All gauges/buttons/VCM work, as well as the windows, lights, power seats, automatic seatbelts, etc. The paint is in phenomenal condition. Incredibly clean interior with only minor wear. This model has the cooler, circular headlights. Full size matching spare wheel/tire. Newer battery
Here are the minor issues:
-Very minimal power steering leak that needs to be topped off ~once/month.
-Check engine light will come on sporadically and is on now
-there is a coolant light on because the tank was removed to get to spark plugs and it just tripped the sensor
-the speakers/radio had been working until I went to test the tape deck, which froze up. It is now stuck in cassette mode
-For some reason only the rear passenger-side door will not open. It did open for me one time randomly, but I haven't looked into it. The lock looks like it moves properly and all other doors are fine
Excellent driving car in fantastic condition. Priced to sell before winter.
