History of the car:
My brother purchased it in the mid 80's from a race car driver here in North Carolina. The race car driver told my brother that he did the conversion to a chevy motor and transmission.
My brother kept the car until the mid 90's when I bought it from him. Since it has been in the family their has never been any major work done to it just simple tunes ups.Last year I put in 2 new fuel pumps, one for each tank. I figured when one stopped may as well put on two new ones.
Here are some things I noticed but have nothing to do with driving it daily or the beauty of the car.1 gas tank is not working maybe its the line. Front driver side floor pans repair started but not completed. I have seat covers over theseats that need upholstering. Headlights flickered off then back on when I clicked switch.Needs antenna and interior cosmetics. If you let it sit for a long time you get a bit of start up smoke but None while running which is normal for a car that is 43 years old.(see video of car running).
Here are the things I have done within the last year or so. New paint job Jaguar kyanite blue, new seat covers, new master cylinder,brake shoes, brake cylinders andbrake lines. Newdual exhausts and mufflers, new spark plug wires and new modulator valve. You can drive this car everyday.
The reason I am selling it is I have 3 other cars so I'm down sizing my collection.
I like to tell a person everything so that you know you're getting a good car with no hidden surprises.
