You are bidding on a very rare and clean 1960 International Harvester Metro - School Bus.
The bus conversion was done by Gillig Bros - Hayward California. There is a great wikipedia page on the Gillig Corporation.(In 1938 the company moved to Hayward, A. In 1957, illig purchased the Pacific Bus division ofKenworth Truck Company. By that time, he company was devoted almost entirely to making school buses. In 1959, illig pioneered the diesel-poweredrear-enginedtransit style school bus with the release of the C-series Transit Coach. Within five years, he C-Series accounted for three-quarters of all of Gillig sales. In 1967, illig produced the 855-D, hich had a passenger capacity of 97, he highest-capacity school bus ever produced.)
This amazing little bus runs and drives. Very minimal surface rust and a few minor dings/dents.We also have the missing grill pieces.
Comes with clean and clear Title!
It's original green paint would look amazing with a buff, nd you could even keep it's cool vintage look with some of that patina. Or, et us customize for you, ix those dings and give her, eautiful, resh paint!
