International Scout 800 Sport Top

1967 International Harvester Scout

Up for auction is a 1967 International Scout 800 Sport Top. This Scout runs. drives. stops . nd shifts well (all gears work fine). The locking hubs work well . s does the 4 wheel drive system. The seats need recovering the floors are sturdy . here are a couple of small holes requiring patching (see pictures) and the Sport Top is missing. The motor runs great (idles smoothly) does not smoke. does not run hot (even in this Arizona heat). and the sound is great (stock. just like it should be). The original owner installed a push button starter years ago turn the key push the button and it fires right up (it would be easy to return to stock). A electric fuel pump was installed by him also. (see pictures)I purchased this Scout to use as a parts car for another Sport Top I'm restoring. but the body is so solid and it runs so good it would be a shame to part out. This Scout will be great for someone who has a Sport Top or regular Scout 800 with a rusted body and needs a good body to swap with. Please see all pictures for condition and details.
