1965 International Harvester Travelall

1965 International Travelall 1200 - this is the big boy 3/4 ton - Big 6 lug wheels4WD - Not all wheel drive - Hubs and a divorced transfer case that has 2H, 4H, 4L, and Neutral304 V8 - Runs very well, will smoke at startup, once warmed up it goes away.4 speed manual transmission - shifts good and runs down the road like it shouldFactory PTO Ramsey winch setup on the front - works like it should and I just re-spooled it with 100' of new synthetic line.Has 2 fuel tanks, the factory fill on the passenger front fender and an auxiliary under the back with a fill inside the rear doors, switch on the dash changes tanks, it works and so does the gas gauge itself.5 brand new bias ply tires and tubes - 7.50 -16. Why bias? It's what it should have on it to look period correct.I think the paint is mostly original, the passenger side doors and lower rocker panel may have been repainted at some point many years ago. the doors all close and latch like they should, but they all could use some adjustment and new rubber to make them fit better. I always just figured in 1965 this truck was more about utility then anything else. It has a style that is unique and beautiful with the rounded glass and lots of curves. The exhaust system is 100% new and custom made, dual 2.25" pipes to resonators that Y into a large 3" muffler and tailpipe. It sounds great and is fairly quiet. It has an oldschool converter 120v plug in under the hood that is wired into the alternator. I plugged a drill into it and it works. As I understand the options, it has power steering, power brakes, the 4 speed is an upgrade over a 3 speed, The pto winch was also an option when ordered.I drive this to work once or twice a week, it all works and I probably wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere, you just need to understand it is old (almost 60 years old) and drives like a 1965 truck, I also just did plugs and wires, oil and filter, so it's good to go.It does have some drips, the worst is the power steering, but I've seen a drip from the transfer case and the rear end as well. I don't think the engine drips at all, it was supposed to have been gone through, but I have not paperwork to back that up.Why do I want to get rid of it....... Well, I want to un-complicate my life and I just have way too much stuff to keep track of. Check out my other auctions, I have at least 10 other cars and a few boats that I'm going to list. Thanks for looking, and good luck!
