Scheler Investments is formerly Five Star International a 10 location International Truck Dealership which began in 1974 in Erie, PA. Five Star sold its operations to Ascendance Truck Centers in December 2022.
This classic International Harvester Loadstar with Frank Imperatore 3+1 Horse Van was purchased to restore to make part of our company collection of 1970's Internationals. We donated the rest of the collection in 2023 and we are now selling this unit. It was purchased in 2019 and the tires were replace with radial tubeless tires and one piece rims. The tube-type bias tires with split rims are still in the body. The carburetor was rebuilt last year but we believe there is a timing issue with the engine as we could not get it to go over 12 mph. As a result, it will need to be towed off the lot.
We expect full payment within 7 days of end of auction and unit MUST be removed within 10 days after final payment.
