This fully restored true survivor is the best way to describe this rare and appreciating piece of history. This pro build is as nice as you can find em. This is no average garage build, as every corner has been paid attention to with the littlest finish details in mind. This is literally a jump in and go driver. Feel free to use as a daily driver with the family, trail ride with the guys as a weekend warrior, join the show scene, or even just add to your existing collection. Drivetrain:

She’s equipped with the original matching numbers 345ci V8, the original bullet proofed 727 Automatic Transmission, 4 Wheel Drive w/OEM International Locking Hubs, and a completely done up original chassis. The complete drivetrain/underside has even been sanded down, pressure/acid washed, sprayed with three coats of etching/filler primer, re-painted in two coats of VHT Satin Black, then coated w/ undercoat Sealant for durability and longevity in mind. Method Racing’s newly released Satin Black 20” deep dish NV605 wheels mounted on the highest quality offroad tires available. Fresh Toyo 37” Open Country Radial MTs bring everything together for a perfect stance. Low profile center caps and even matching powder coated black HD lug nuts hold everything together. An upgraded Power Brake Front Disc System to help you stop on a dime and even includes a larger brake booster for longevity.

She towers over a state-of-the-art OTA Long Travel Premium Lift set up that makes wallets cringe and levels up over the freshly rebuilt original Dana axles. The kit includes; Premium KYB Shocks, Universal Reverse Shackle Kit, 5" Heavy Duty Rear Shackle Set, 5/8" Heavy Duty U-bolts, 3/8" Thick Heavy Duty U-bolt Plates, Heavy Duty Spring Perch's, Braided Stainless Steel Extended Brake Lines, and a dual shock tower Kit. Also installed; Rear Axle Shock Tabs, new Bump stops w/ Welded on Mounts, Energy Suspension Leaf Spring Bushings, Long Travel 2.5" Wide, 46.5" Long Front Leaf Springs, Rough Country2" mounts, an upgraded Hi-Steer Kit w/Steel Arms, a Hi-SteerTierod/Draglink Combo, a HD Pitman Arm, Rear Heavy-Duty Driveshaft, and a Front Heavy Duty Long Travel Driveshaft. This is a very complete set up for all your daily driving and/or off-road needs. Even after everything listed, it was taken the extra mile and upgraded with TIMKEN Bearings, Grade 8 hardware, new body bushings, Boorg components w/galvanized fasteners, Premium seals, and even stainless shims across the undercarriage. Everything has been fully weather sealed for generations to come.

The drivetrain has recently been professionally tuned by the well-known Mr. Tim Benedict of Arizona himself. She drives smooth, straight as can be w/no weird death wobbles and pushes plenty of power. An “eatable surface” is the best way to describe this undercarriage all the way down to the updated valve caps themselves.

Performance:

Modern-day updates to keep reliability and drivability in mind. Sitting directly down the middle of the drivetrain is a clean Stainless-Steel Dual 3” THRUSH Exhaust system and bad boy Long Tube Performance Headers. This masterpiece has a Hi-Flo power steering setup, Factory Heat, and Factory Air Conditioning. A brand-new 3-year warrantied High CCA All-Weather Battery, HD Starter, 1-wire dual pully Alternator, new plugs, filters were just installed on top of all the other upgrades.

An expensive high quality Holly Sniper EFI 2300 self-tuning master kit is bolted up to a 2300 Flange Carburetor Replacement and equipped with a C4/C6 transmission kickdown lever. Integrated ignition timing control, Internal fuel pressure regulator eliminates the hassle of plumbing an external fuel pressure regulator (Preset to 58.5 PSI), a High-Resolution Full Color Touchscreen Display, Premium spark plugs, a Self-tuning ECU, and Bosch LSU 4.9 Wideband Oxygen Sensor w/self-learning Fuel Maps. An updated oxygen sensor kit, Stainless clamps, Stainless oxygen sensor flange, and all plumed into a High Pressure/High-Capacity new 19-gallon fuel tank. Sitting up top hosts a top of the line Hi-Flo 3” tall K/N Air Cleaner. Bear Mountain Automotive out of California did all the rods, lifters, tuned in a mild cam, and performed all the head work. Joe’s Carburetor Exchange out of Arizona completed all the Electronic Fuel Injection set up.

Interior:

Plush, Comfortable, functional, beautiful, and Fit for Purpose are words that would best describe. The matching color scheme brings the super clean interior together. From the original leather padded doors, comfortable matching arm rests, powdered black window cranks, all the way to the little black trim screws that hold it all together. Everything has been fully restored to match the original Line Setting Ticket yet updated for today’s standards with comfortability in mind. The little details make this interior different than the others. Nothing overly done where it takes away the originality but updated enough where modern technology can play its part. Even though the original classic gauges are present, a more modern-day almost hidden digital screen gives you up to date and more accurate readings. Small enough where it doesn’t take away from the Classic look yet there for your convenience and reliability.

The fully adjustable and fully restored original seating combination are as comfortable as they look. The midback buckets are equipped from the factory with tilt and slide levers as well. The rear bench also has been fully restored and can be folded down and/or up for even more storage with a simple lever pull. Again, all matching the original factory Line Setting Ticket. The floors come equipped with sound detinning insulation and brand-new OEM matching black MGB Nylon Loop carpet all the way through the interior. Easy to clean, stain resistant, super durable, and looks good from any angle. A subtle high-quality Bluetooth/Handsfree Kicker audio set up has been wired in from the front to the back and even comes with easily removable dual 10” subwoofers for all your music needs. She’s been updated with brand new weather trim, a restored slide resistant dash, aluminum door sills and un-cracked original glass that has been UV tinted to complete the look. Even the NOS parts have been sourced from all-across the country to complete the original Line Setting Ticket and keep the originality in mind. This is a super clean, classic looking interior that has been very well set up for today’s modern day amenity expectations.

Exterior:

The body has been professionally resprayed back to its rare original factory color, Burnished Gold Metallic. This fresh 3-stage brilliant metallic has also been professionally clay bared, hard cut 3-step polished, buffed, paint corrected, and even Ceramic coated by On-Point Inc. here in Arizona. It gives off a brilliant Gloss shine in the sun and is now protected from any outdoor elements for years and years to come. All original un-cut steel panels and no fiberglass replacements on this beautiful monster. Armed with heavy gauge front / rear painted black steel bumpers and matching Rock Slider/Side Steps. She’s equipped with black housing H4 HID/HV LED headlamps, International Harvester vinyl graphics, and the original hard-to-get early model rare Scout 2 horizontal grille. The mirrors, brackets, and light buckets have all been color matched black to match this clean color scheme as well. She comes with a high quality Best Top Safari style convertible soft top that folds up and down with ease. She also comes with a great condition but un-restored hard top (spare windows included) to achieve any look you’re going for. Evolve+ UV Window Tint all around by Vador Tint of Arizona, and a long-range Shorty antenna upgrade to complete the look. Beautiful, Ominous, and Menacing are some of the best ways to describe the overall look of the exterior. The overall stance will make anyone look twice, as you count thumbs up with every outing.

Documents:

Everything is properly organized in a leather binder, protective sheeting, and are separated accordingly in a portable file box full of other material. This all includes; years of high-quality parts purchase receipts and years of professional preventative maintenance invoices. The original Line Setting Ticket, the original Purchasing Order, the OEM Chassis Inspection Card, Warranty cards, Instruction and Service Manuals, Work Orders, Bulletins, build spec sheets, reference charts, and personal notes. Stickers, diagrams, OEM owner’s manual, color charts, logs, aftermarket brochures, and much more. The originals have all been verified through The McCormick-International Harvester Historical Society Archives in Madison, Wisconsin.
