1978 International Harvester Scout Scout II Custom Interior

1978 International Harvester Scout II was refurbished under prior ownership and acquired by current owner/seller in July 2020. This truck is powered by a 304ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual range transfer case, and it’s finished in matte white paint with Velocity Restorations design gray and orange Scout II decals over black custom upholstery. Equipment includes a black removable hardtop, air conditioning, 17” Mickey Thompson wheels, new BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires, Velocity Restorations front axle reverse shackles, RIGID Industries LED Fog/Driving Lights, GRC front/rear bumpers, Velocity Restorations wood steering wheel, and a Kenwood stereo system. This Scout II is registered in Alabama and can be transferred to another state.
This truck was originally restored by The Scoutman in Winston, GA, under previous ownership. The most recent work was performed by Velocity Restorations in Pensacola, FL. Their work included the custom Metal Flake Gunmetal Gray powder coating to match the bumpers, wheels, and roll cage. They also installed the full custom roll cage. In addition, they rewired all of the lighting on the interior/exterior of the vehicle.
The interior gauges include a 100-mph speedometer, coolant temperature, oil pressure, alternator charge, and fuel level. The odometer shows 14K miles of which 300 has been added under current ownership. The gauge facing decals have been changed to white for easier visualization.
The 304ci V8 is equipped with a Holley 2300 Carburetor, custom exhaust, and an electronic ignition system.
