1947 INTERNATIONAL K3 1-TON PICKUP TRUCK
This is a neat old pickup. I am the third owner. The first owner had it about 70 years. The second owner had it for awhile but never got it running. I got it running and cleaned it up and it runs good. This is a somewhat rare pickup. I hate to use the rare word because it is overused, but I never see these for sale. I see some 1/2 tons but not the longbox 1-ton model. The ones I've seen before had old flatbeds on them. The truck is mostly original besides some old paint touchups. The truck has no rust-through and no body filler. Clear title, and it matches the factory tag. If your interested in possibly doing something early on it, message me. Below are more details. Thanks and happy bidding.

BODY
The body is in pretty nice shape. There are bumps and bruises from the years but no major dents, no rust-through, and no filler. The paint is not nice but has a good looking patina. Doors and windows work as they should. Hoods work as it should and tailgate. This has the windshield that cranks out and it doesn't crank. I'm sure the crank mechanism needs lubed and it's easy to access, I just forgot to do it when it was in my shop. One door glass is cracked (cheap to replace). Windshields have some bubbling but nothing that affects visibility. They are flat too though and easy to replace. The body overall is in nice shape for a survivor driver. I'd drive it as-is but it would be an easy one to prep for paint too.

INTERIOR
There isn't much to detail about the interior. The seat has been redone at some point it looks like. Springs are in good shape too. The temperature gauge, fuel gauge, and ampmeter work. The dash is uncut and it's clean inside. The headliner is gone but these are a cardboard type and easy to replace. There is no floormat. No floor rust. Pics tell the story on the interior.

MECHANICAL
This has the flathead six cylinder with 4-speed manual transmission. It runs nice and is very quiet when Idling. It is running on a 12 volt battery now. The truck was 6volt original. The wiring should be re-done if you plan to drive it much. Some of the electrical stuff works and some doesn't. The lights don't work but they may need some bulbs. It is easy and cheap to rewire these trucks to be 12 volt. It is much safer to also put in the new wiring in because the insulation is coming off the old wires. I could possibly do the work for you if we agreed on that, and an hourly rate or something. The engine has a new coil, new cap/rotor, new sparkplug wires, new coil, new fuel pump and rebuilt carburetor. It starts right up and runs nice. No ticks or knocks. The clutch works fine and all gears work. The brakes work but should be checked out better. They are manual, but can be converted to power brakes pretty easily. The parking brake works. The truck definitely needs tires. This truck could be a driver fairly easy but will need some work.

This old classic is 73 years old and sold as-is. Please read payment requirements. I am easy to work with and can help arrange shipping and store the truck for awhile if needed, for no storage fees. Thanks
