1944 International Harvester M 2 4 Basic

Up for grabs is my 1944 International M24 military truck. She sits a top of a 1990 Dodge 4x4 chassis. It has a 12 valve Cummins and 5 speed manual trans. It has a Dana 60 front diff and Dana 70 rear. The transfer case is a NP 205. At the time of the cab swap the transmission was gone thru and a new clutch was installed. The W350 had 180k miles. The turbo builds good boost and has the governor spring and 3200 rpm rod installed. The muffler is off of a Caterpillar haul truck and has been gutted. It has on board air with a 3 gallon tank and a train horn. The windshield cranks out with ease and the cowl vent still operates freely for cooling the occupants on warm summer days. The 12 valve puts out enough radiant heat to warm up the cab even on cold Arizona days.It has a 8 foot flatbed that never needs to be made with a stout headache rack. A few animal pelts garnish it to add to the overall appearance. It's got a steer skull that adorns the beefy grill guard and a railroad tie for a front bumper. Oh and a cow bell hanging out back. It's got a couple of headlights, sure they dont match but nobody's perfect. It has a super bright led back up light also. Turn signals work as designed. It always runs under 180°. It has an aluminum radiator and electric cooling fan.The truck drives excellent. Its a old mechanical Cummins with a manual so it will go forever with general maintenance. If you stay around 65 mph on the freeway you can expect to see 20 mpg. Less with the semi truck wheels.Speaking of the wheels and tires, I have 2 sets. You can take your pick or have both for an extra $1000. The set I prefer and that is on it now are 33" Maxxis mud terrains with less than 500 miles. They ride amazing and look aggressive. I painted the stock wheels with black hammered finish. The other set is 22.5 semi truck aluminum wheels. They have 265/75/22.5 tires with maybe 20% tread remaining. They are terrible in mud or snow and ride ridiculously bad but boy do they look cool! To each their own.The gearing in the diffs is 3.54 so the semi truck set up is actually too tall (almost 38") and make it seem sluggish in comparison. The fuel gauge need a sender. It has a 30 gallon tank so it could feasibly go 500 miles on a fill. Also it need a wire ran to the tach for signal and a wire ran to the speed sensor for the speedo. I just haven't got to it yet.Well there you have it. If you want a turn key badass truck that you could drive home today bid now!
