1967 International Harvester Scout 800

This is a NO RESERVE auction, there is no "buy it now" price. It takes time, mone, and effort to post on here, so only bid if you fully intend to close the deal at the end of the auction!!!
This is a real eye catcher of a 1967 scout! Bright metallic green paint with clear coat, custom stripes, and brand new 33 inch off road tires on custom aluminum wheels make it really hard to miss! Lifted several inches with a spring over conversion and maybe a slight body lift. The scout also has heavy duty custom bumpers, front and rear. The inside has been covered in bed liner, there are 2 new low back seats in the front, I have a rear original seat for a scout that can go with for additional cost. Truck also has a custom steering wheel. The body is very solid and pretty straight too, No major signs of rust! floors have been replaced at some point. The top had not been on it for a long time, Just put it back on so it can go with the scout to the new owne, Comes with new rear window seal, might install it if time permits. This Scout is the first year available with the v-8. This one has the 304 in it. The scout has surprisingly good power! All I can tell for sure is that it has dual exhaust and a later Holly carburetor on it, It fires right up and sounds really good too!The transmission is the optional 4 spee, works as it should, I think it is fairly rare as most I have seen are 3 speeds.Rear axle is a Dana 44, unknown ratio, 4 wheel drive works, locking front hubs. This scout spent the better part of 2 decades on a large ranch in Oklahoma, last being tagged in 2005. The scout was then parked in a barn when it was not being used occasionally on the ranch, but off road only. It shows something around 40k miles, not sure if its actual or not, as it sat, unused for long periods of time. The scout starts right up, is fun to drive, and looks cool! It is not a new Toyota, it is not a show truck, it is over 50 years old. It has dents/imperfections, etc. The scout may need additional work/tinkering/finishing, depending on what your goals are with it. You are bidding to OWN it, not the right of first refusal, therfore, the $500 deposit is due at the end of the auction and is not refundable. Clean OK title in hand. You are welcome to ask questions or to set up a time to come see the scout and I will do my best to accomodate you . Thanks for looking!
