NO RESERVE! with a lot of extras.
If your looking for a great old truck to bring back some of those childhood memories, take a good look at this one. I like the Chevys and Fords of the day, but I think IHC had them both on styling. Anyway, here is a perfect example for your consideration.
This particular truck came from a farm in north - central Kansas. It was in use until just recently. It had developed a couple of mechanical issues - which gave me the opportunity to purchase it. The transmission had been jumping out of second gear, if held in it would stay. The previous owner had already sourced a good used transmission - which is included in the sale. He finally quit driving it when the rear main seal went to leaking. It's still running, carries great oil pressure, and will drive but it does leave a puddle so, at least the two repairs go together! Swap out transmission and do rear main while there.
The truck starts and runs very well, although I'm going to say it could use a tune up, as it smell's pretty rich. The original flat head engine has been replaced for the much more powerful valve in head (I believe silver diamond) engine. The truck does need a new master cylinder, parking brake does work, however.
The body on this truck is very straight. The grill is bent, but comes with another straight one. I don't think it comes with quite enough straight chrome pieces for the entire grill, but actually has extras of the others. Previous owner loved this truck, and as you can see in the pictures had acquired quite a pile of spare parts. Everything I have goes with it. He told me that this was only vehicle he ever had with leather seats! They came out of an Eddie Bauer explorer, and actually fit pretty well. The glass is missing form the side windows, but all the glass on these is flat and pretty cheap to replace. There are some rust spots on the passenger side of the floor, I'm guessing maybe from a heater core leak at some point, because other side is solid. Over all there is very little rust anywhere, very solid truck. It even has a brand new set of tires on the front axle, and a very nice, recently built bed, that he made from re-claimed lumber.
Please check out the pics of the spare parts. There is a good used instrument cluster, window regulators, grill, special clips, lights, etc..
This truck does need a little work to be an every day driver, but would be perfect for small working farm, and with the hydraulic dump bed is very handy to have around. Please check out the pictures closely, and if you have any questions please call or text Cort at 620-786-5172. Truck comes with a clear Kansas title. Check my feedback from other old trucks I have sold, and know you can bid with confidence. This truck will haul on and 18ft trailer, and can set here for a while as long as it's paid for in a timely manner. Thank you and good luck.
