One of the last great American Icons. 1961 International Harvester Travelall 1210 4x4.
I had great ambitions to restore and put back on the road, pulling an airstream trailer. But I have to pass it on for someone else to be able to restore this classic. The great thing is its almost all there. Minimal body work, no frame or undercarriage damage. Just needs gone thru and it's ready to go.
Rare beast. Travelall is almost all there. Spent most of its life here in Colorado. Has not ran in over 20 years. Motor turns over, but have not started. It will need a total mechanical restoration to be put back on road.
As you can see from pics, really solid travelall, main rust present is in passenger rear door where apparently door was damaged at some point and repaired. Small holes in front passenger and driver floor boards. And then small patches on body as shown in pics. The frame and underbody and roof are solid. All windows are in excellent shape and intact, except rear window is missing.
I'm hoping someone with nostalgic love, can do justice and put this great machine back on the road.
