1964 International Harvester Loadstar 1800

Here is a Beautiful honey of a Truck....Nice clean rust free example of a Nevada truck. This truck was originally purchased by the government and started life as a water truck. It was shipped out to an army base in the desert where it served light duty for 15 years. It was then requisitioned by the University of Nevada, nd was then shipped out to Reno where it has lived on Campus for 35 years. The University used it as a water truck for about ten years, nd when they purchased a brand new water truck, hey removed the tank and made it into a flatbed. It was used for light chores around campus over the years until I acquired it 2 years ago. I have used it a hand full of times since I have owned it for some light duty building salvage work. I have several ideas of how I would build the truck out, s I'm sure many of you reading this will yourselves. Ok, o about the condition: This truck is in great original condition! THIS TRUCK HAS 12,617 ORIGINAL MILES. It has the small international V-8 with a 5 speed Transmission. It has power steering, nd Air brakes, nd it drives very nicely! It has a few small repairs, uch as the windshield wipers, orn, tc. On the flatbed it still has the original plate steel on each side of where the tank sat, nd one new piece of diamond plate towards the back of the bed, nd there is an approximately 2' by 6' piece missing towards the front of the bed. It has the original International cab lights, nd it looks like original International mirrors. The seat is all there, nd the cover is pretty torn up on the drivers side and generally brittle. I do have the door panels, off in the pictures) The floor, oors, ambs, unning boards, heel wells, irewall etc. all look really clean and rust free. All in all this truck is a great builder, r use it as is...either way it is a real head turner!!! Happy Bidding!!!
