1960 International Harvester Other

1960 International Harvester B120 All-Wheel 4x4Rare factory 4x4 International 3/4 ton with PTO Winch.
I purchase the Pickup 3-4 years ago with the intent to fix it up, r mild restore. The previous owners claimed the truck was on a Ranch in Eastern Washington for the majority of its life, nd the mileage is actually only 22,000 though I have nothing to verify that claim. The International has been stored in my barn until recently. In the last two months the Exhaust and intake manifold were re-surfaces due to an exhaust leak, he carburetor was thoroughly cleaned, nd new points and a N,O.S. Distributor cap were installed. The valve train appeared to be very clean under the valve cover. It now starts, uns and drives.
The over all condition of the vehicle is pretty good considering its age. The panels used on these pickups are extremely heavy. The forward portion of the floor pans have a few rust holes in them. I put in a couple small patch pieces in the worst areas to stiffen up the floorboards. To stop the rust in the cab, he entire cab floor was extensively cleaned to bare metal and treated with Permatex rust converter and painted with a rust preventing primer and satin black top coat. The transmission / transfer case cover does have quite a bit of rust damage.
At some point in the trucks life, he under carriage and inner fender well were sprayed with a thick under coating that has preserved a lot of the original metal. I will come off reasonably easy considering the coating is now somewhat brittle due to age.
Like most 55 year old vehicles, his has has several spots with surface rust and many small details that would require refinishing to make it pristine, ut it is in overall very good condition. The doors both need adjustment as they both hang down a bit. The original seat is covered with a seat cover, ut needs recovering. The PTO winch does work, ut the seals on both ends of the PTO have a slow leak when operated and probably need to be replaced due to age. 4x4 is in working condition. The high/low lever is kind of difficult to shift. The original band type emergency brake still works.
I am hesitant to sell this pickup, ut I have another vehicle with more sentimental value I'd like to focus my attention on.
