1999 Jurassic Truck Corperation TREX

Meet the T-REX! 1500 where built in Arlington Texas in the late 90’s by the Jurassic Truck Corperation. The T-REX was conceived origionally as a stunt vehicle replacement in films for the H1 HUMVEE in 1996. Back then, GM was not in the picture. AM General produced the military HUMVEE and the civilian HUMMER.

While this truck looks almost identical to the AM General H1 Hummer, it is not. It is a high quality replica made with a U.S. made steel body. Only the hood is fiberglass, and I’m told it can be switched out for a Hummer H-1 clip if desired.

In many ways, this truck out performs the H-1. It’s 2000lb. light, 6 speed transmission, and a 383 STROKER (gas engine). Part are cheap and easy to find. 383 STROKER is the same platform of a 350 Chevy, most common/reliable engine ever built. This truck has a solid frame, only rust spot (quarter size) driver door (see picture). This is not a frame swap like “urban gorilla hummer”, it was built from wheels up.

It does have AC, I never use it because I always have the windows off. I (Brand: Vintage AC)
