1992 Honda Accord
Originally a WA state car. I bought it from a 93 year old in IA, a used car dealer, his personal car, kept it in a heated garage during his ownership. It's covered at my house 90% of the time. Gray in color, supposedly, it seems light gold to me. It has been my daily main/driver at about 5k miles per year, for the past 5 years. The best car I've owned out of nearly 30 Hondas/Acuras, new and old. Smooth, comfortable and stupidly reliable. The ABS light is on, it's covered with electrical tape on the dash, you would only notice the light if you are night driving. The ABS system still functions properly. The Antenna is there but broken. Factory fog lights, upgraded stereo for the year- really good sound, but I use my BT speaker. Nothing is loose- some minor/typical Honda plastic creeks console area, a mild heat shield rattle on hot days with the windows down. I've owned five EXs since 2000. They are bullet proof, you'll seem a fair number of them on CL with 300K+ miles. TONS of recent maintenance since my ownership-everything professionally documented. Tires, timing belt, water pump, exhaust/exhaust tips battery, radiator, engine/transmission mounts, fuel pump, fuel injector, a/c recharge. My mechanic this winter: "I'm impressed by these older A/C units and everything looks good"...meaning the entire car. Non smoker's car. No leaks, no odors, nice interior. I'm more than sad to part with this, but should/will downsize. No time for games, I live minutes from the local police station- a great place for used car interactions. I also own a car dolly and could possibly bring it to you. Plenty of body blemishes, I gouged a rear alloy wheel pretty good recently. I will replace the cracked windshield before sale.
