Description:

1987 Honda Civic 1.5 SI

I’ve owned this southern car for 9 1/2 years. It came from Nashville Tennessee so it is not a NJ rust bucket as you can see from the pictures. It has been well cared for. During my ownership, approximately 26k miles ago, I had the following replaced:Front and rear brakes, rotors, drums and wheel cylinders. Left rear hub assembly, water pump, timing belt, belt tensioner, fan belts, tie rods and valve cover gasket. At 197k miles I had the clutch replaced. I’ve changed the oil every 2000 miles. It does smoke a little upon start up mostly after sitting for some time. Other items to note: the sunroof does work and does NOT leak but it does have a small crack in the corner. The windshield has a crack in the upper right passenger side from a road stone. The AC blows cool, but not cold. A few paint imperfections which I’ve included pictures. I want to portray this vehicle as honestly as possible. It has been a garage kept fair weather vehicle. I’ve recently lost my storage which is why I’ve decided to sell this awesome little hatchback. It gets compliments everywhere it goes. With the 5 speed manual transmission, it’s the most fun you can have with the stock 90 hp engine.Mild upgrades include rare 14 inch phone dial aluminum wheels, a larger diameter 91 CRX steering wheel, a rear sway bar and a leather wrapped shift knob from an Acura Integra which all improve the driving experience. Please ask questions before bidding. I reserve the right to end auction early as it is listed for sale locally. Thanks for looking
