This 1997 Prelude SiR Type S has been equipped with the 217hp version of the H22a motor called the "Euro R" it produced 20 more horsepower than the American versions. The car currently has the equivalent of 123k miles. The type S trim level was also equipped with an electronic LSD that Honda called ATTS. This ATTS is a game changer and helps this Honda put its power down with minimal torque steer and minimal tire slippage. it helps to pull the car through fast corners and is a very impressive piece of Equpment.

This car has been equipped with Tein Coilovers and handles and rides fantastic. this car is not only the best handling FWD car I've ever experienced but it also is the best riding car on coilovers I've ever owned. I have driven the car cross country over 2000 miles from Virgina to Texas traveling through WV, OH, KY, TN, MO, AR and never once did i say " i hate these coilovers" The car averaged 30mpg on the highway and 27 mpg in mixed driving.

The car has been equipped with a full stainless steel exhaust system and while it does sing beautifully at WOT it is quiet and pleasant at highway cruising speeds. Other than this modification the car remains unadulterated.

There are some small dents on the driver's door and quarter panel and a scuff mark with scratches was left on the front bumper, there's a scratch on the rear bumper that has been filled in with touch up paint and a R33 skyline spoiler that has been molded, quite impressively, into the decklid. The Interior is clean and simple and asks you to insert your toll card in Japanese every time you start the car.

There is a tiny tiny burn hole in the passenger seat and the USDM Honda radio is just for show. No, you won't be easily able to make it work because JDM and USDM radios use a different connecting plug and have different sized chassis. You can use a JDM radio, but you'll soon find out that they don't function well in America. In my other JDM cars I've used a Bluetooth amplifier to connect my phone with the car speakers.

The car rides super low on bronze Dunlop Wheels. As a result of this super lowness the ATTS light is illuminated on the dash. My internet super sleuthing tells me this is a common light to come on when Preludes are lowered.

Super sexy car that is a blast to drive. I want to keep it but were moving to Ohio and we can only drive back two cars, so all my cars are being put up for sale. contact me if you've ever been in the market for an old classic Bronco, an early full size Bronco, a Bronco that looks like OJ's, a heavily modified Buick grand national, a Porsche Boxster with an Automatic, a VW bus (bay window) an E36 M3, a 1970 El Camino SS or a Mustang Cobra race car.

Car is for sale locally in Austin Texas and I am taking it to a car show this weekend. I consider the car sold after I receive a deposit and draw up a bill of sale. I reserve the right to cancel this auction early if I strike a deal and get a deposit. a $500 deposit is due immediately after the auction ends. if no deposit is received in 24 hours the car will be offered to the next highest bidder. accounts with zero feedback are allowed to bid on the car but please reach out to me after you bid or i will cancel your bid to keep bots from ruining my auction. Even if you have the highest bid ebay gives me the option to sell it to a lower bidder with feedback. I just found this out with the last car i sold. if you have zero feedback, win the auction BUT DONT REACH OUT TO ME BEFOREHAND, i will consider you a bot and offer the car to next highest bidder. You have 7 days after auction to complete payment and schedule transport. Failure will result in loss of your deposit and or storage fees.

I will make myself available to answer questions and i do have a buy it now price in mind if you don't feel like getting into a bid war. I have lots more pictures from my recent road trip so reach out if you're interested.

Happy Bidding.
