1978 Honda Accord | 39,400 Miles | 5 speed manual 1.6L CVCC
BACKSTORYThe person I bought this car from bought it a year ago from the original owner's family. He had it for about a year, but couldn't get around to it because of school. When the original owner passed away, the family held onto the car but didn't use it at all. The gentleman I bought it from had a new carburetor installed as well as new tires back in September of 2023. I was told the 39K miles is accurate and the way the car drives reflects that. Very smooth drive & turns heads.

PAPERWORKI have maintenance records for the carburetor as well as one set from the original owners. Original owners manual on hand as well.

INTERIOR/EXTERIORExterior- This Honda has a beautiful Patina look. All original paint, badges, lights, wheels, & windows. Was in Imperial Beach, San Diego it's entire life. All the rust on there is surface rust except for two spots which have holes. As seen in the photos, there is a spot on in between the hood & the windshield on the driver's side. There is also another spot on the rear passenger side roof, but this one is smaller. Could get the car repainted, but personally this patina look is great on it with a nice wax.
Interior- All original interior-- seats, carpet, radio, dashboard, etc. I had it detailed and there was a huge difference in color once they did an extraction on the seats. The seats show some wear and tear on the seams by the leather & cloth, however, there is no cracking on any of the leather. Carpet also has a few stains that we couldn't get out.

ENGINE & MECHANICALThe engine sounds great when started up. I had my bodyshop take a look under the car and it could use a new oil pan, muffler bolts, and they recommended an axle service. Brakes are in great shape and the frame is good too. Gas gauge doesn't reflect accurately, but all other meters on the dash work perfect. One of the reverse lights is just about done, but that should be a $30-$40 fix.
