1977 Honda Accord Hatchback Blue FWD Automatic cvcc
1977 Honda Accord cvcc
This 1977 Honda Accord is a classic beauty that has stood the test of time. Its original blue color is still vibrant, with only 76000 miles on the odometer. The owner has cherished it for a year, but now it's time for a new home. This vintage car needs some work to make it road-ready again, so it's perfect for a buyer with a passion for restoration. Don't miss out on the chance to own a piece of automotive history.
Vehicle Details
Hey guys, I've got a pair of accords that I was planning on restoring but unfortunately life got in the way and I have to let them go.
Silver car is a 1978 cvcc with 5 speed that at some point was converted to an ek1 engine. Car was my daily driver for about 8 months last year till I started running into all kinds of issues. Replaced fuel pump, pump cutoff relay, and put a different carb on the car which got it to run again but then it started having ignition trouble and I got tired of chasing rabbit holes. Interior is worn and there's rust in just about every part of the car but when she was driving good, she was driving GREAT. As far as I know the car has lived in Georgia for its whole life and was single owner until just a few years ago. Lots of paperwork and receipts for all kinds of maintenance done over the years. I have all of the parts that were removed from the car on hand to go with it.
Blue car is a 1977 cvcc automatic, almost completely original besides having been weber converted. 7x,xxx original miles on the odometer. Bought this as a parts car but it was just too clean to chop up. Interior is 8.5/10. Previous owner wired the battery in reverse and fried some of the electrical but I presume with an ignition switch and light controll switch you could get things to start turning on. Engine spins freely by hand. Needs complete fuel system rebuild on top of electrical repairs. I believe this car was originally sold in New Jersey before making its way down to Georgia at some point. There is some rust in the rear valance, the backs of the front fenders, and on the hood, presumably from salt on the New Jersey roads but the floor, frame rails, doors, hatch, and roof are more or less pristine condition. There was a partial paint job done to the drivers quarter panel at some point but when checking with a magnet you can see that very little if any body filler was used.
Cars are located in Dekalb county Georgia and I have all the paperwork for both cars. I would prefer to sell them as a pair to someone that I know will appreciate them which is why I'm posting in this group before making a public listing. I would like to get around $2000 for both cars but am open to negotiation. Someone come show these beauties the love they deserve.
