1994 Honda Civic
Clean title non smoker 1994 Honda Civic Dx for sale. Owned since 2014. Have gotten many compliments over the years of my ownership. I kept it mostly stock for fuel economy aside from the Ground Control with Koni's and 949 6UL 15x8 wheel, bought it with about 157K miles now has 289K miles. It has been a great car that is need some attention that I gave back in 2015 when I had it repainted with all new oem mouldings and hood with front rear bumpers. The body shop that did the work painted and repair the passenger side quarter panel (bought the car like that). I have all the parts invoices/receipts for that work.In Oct 2019 the car did overheat on me (faulty import direct water pump) so I decide to have the engine rebuilt along with the transmission ( hearing input shaft noise) mileage at the time was approximately 255K I only have the receipt for the trans rebuild, misplaced the engine one. One that note I was not happy with the engine rebuild work hence the pictures of the oil leak in different places of the engine(appears rear mai, oil pan, and head gasket area at the front of the engine see picture circled in yellow). The Civic uses about half a quart of oil every 250 miles or so. With the engine out I wanted the best reliability so the hard to get to engine mounts were replaced with oem and alternator with starter both Bosch units. I had the mentality while I was in there do a clutch kit too.Over the years I accumulated parts receipts which I have in a folder.Approximately in 2017 I hit a curb and dented, scratched one rim so I bought another one of the same finish color Tungsten, however I notice the new rim was a darker shade than the original ones. The knuckle and lower arm was also replaced too with used parts.
The suspension and steering parts have one or more times been replaced. The second set of upper arm I purchased came with grease fittings at the top the ball joint which caused shock tower contact and eventually poked though the sheet metal. I have since raised the car a bit more and seam sealed the holes (see yellow circles in picture).
The sound system does work, I added a mini cpu fan to help cool down the amp. I got rid of the cardboard type spare cover and went with 1/4 inch wood. AC does work however i presume the heater core is leaking do to the smell so now the hoses are routed together. The speedometer occasionally not responsive sometimes it needs a tap see video, odometer always works though.Tires will definitely need to be replaced due to the inner tire wear. The Civic Ecm has been replaced due to burnt capacito, was done in April 2023As you can see not much rust on this car and I believe it to be a Texas owned car.In May 2023 in Burnet we had some hail and the inevitable happened the Civic got hit, difficult to tell in the pictures in person it appears the hood took most of the beating (pointing on the pictures) The car has plenty of rock chips aswell now faded roof as it was my daily driver to Austin.Last time Ichecked the spare tire and tools were still there in their rightful place
Have a couple of youtube videos I uploaded to hear and show running.https://youtu.be/Qlp9Sk1Zj50https://youtu.be/CAgrI15iYhI
