I'm selling my 1986 Honda Civic CRX 5-speed manual with low miles. Ran great until recently. There seems to be a fuel delivery issue. It seems like a fuel filter issue. I don't think it's the fuel pump because the car starts up and will run if I hold the gas pedal down. It dies as soon as I let off of the gas. Otherwise the engine runs strong with no missing or knocking or anything like that. Transmission shifts good too. I don't have the desire to dump money into it or tinker and need the garage space.
Needs a paint job but overall very good condition. Rust free California car. Under carriage is very nice. The trunk and engine compartment paint is in excellent condition. It wouldn't take much for a full restoration.Original hub caps are excellent with no curb rash. Good tires. Good brakes. Doesn't leak or burn oil. Good glass allthe way around. No cracks in the dashboard. Besides the driver side seat bolster rip, the interior is pretty nice. Some cracked body plastics- as is common with all first generation CRX.
Registration expired February 2019 but I filed a Non-op. No back fees. Clean title, NOT SALVAGE. Trailer needed to take it home.
