1989 Honda CRX Si
Here is a nice, ust-free example of Honda's sporty little 2-seat machine that is a collector car you can drive and enjoy. Not to mention get great fuel economy (around 40 mpg).
I bought this 142K-mile CRX with a bad headgasket and because the engine had gotten pretty hot, took the entire drivetrain out of a similar-mileage 1988 CRX Si and bolted into this car. For some reason the car seems faster-than-normal, ut maybe I am getting old! The car does not have a high-idle at start-up and there is a check engine light on, ut she runs and shifts beautifully otherwise.
We installed a NEW HONDA TIMING BELT, ATERPUMP AND ENGINE MOUNTS when the engine swap was done (20 miles ago).
This is not a show car (it wouldn't be at this price.) but it is a very nice solid CRX Si that could be slowly detailed up to show-car status while you drive. The biggest cosmetic blemish is a part of the driver's door that obviously had been dented in and then someone tried to hammer it out.
Tires are quite good, itle is clear. Interior much better than most. It's a great little car that will appreciate in value.
